The Keyhole Garden consists of two keyhole-shaped gardens, mirror-imaged, with unit-paving patio areas defined by low stone retaining walls for sitting and enjoying the scent of the fragrant plantings.  A wide selection of perfumed and aromatic perennials and herbs provide the sensory experience for smell.  The North Keyhole Garden has a romantic feel with cool colour palette plantings in blue-purple, rose, pink, and soft white, while the South Keyhole Garden has a cheery feel with warm colour palette plantings in purple-blue, soft orange, peach, soft yellow and warm pink.  Cornerstone plants are peonies, roses and lavenders of different varieties and colours.
